Spruce burl spruces up the place.

A basket is quickly found and filled with the boxes to be finished later. The project numbers are growing rapidly. Now a home has to be found for the basket.   The project numbers are growing rapidly.
So after a mad flurry of cleaning, toting, baling, and climbing up and down a step stool, the shelves are emptied and the other shelves holding bowls and such to be finished are filled. Some, ok most, of the flat pieces have been saved. Actually a lot of these will be used as faceplates or as glue on blocks to hold pieces in place for turning. I like hardwood for it and this was going to be scrap anyway.   most of the flat pieces have been saved
There's that box of boxes again, still looking for a home along with other pieces.  that box of boxes again
But first a pause to admire some spruce burls a friend just gave me. There are some beauties here.  a pause to admire some spruce burls
