All that is needed is a plan for the corner and time. Right now the plan is for coffee, lunch and bed in that order. Tomorrow I have to work and the shop will have to wait a day or two.

I am back and we are in the middle of a short thaw in Nova Scotia. There is some ice against the door and some water seeped in. Not a new problem but an aggravating one and hard to fix with the construction of this building. It was an old problem when we bought the property. Life. The corner has been cleared of stuff and the floor swept. Let us begin again.

Looking at the shelves and the wet floor, I have decided to move the wood into boxes as before; long spindles, short spindles, blocks and firewood. Anything else can have a home on the table.

This is a block from a packing crate that was rescued by a friend of mine while at work. The crate was being cut up for the trash. It is some rosewood relative. I have given my friend a pen from this wood. It needs to be cut around the nail holes but is sure worth it. The wet end is hanging off the table.
