Cleaning the Workshop

Getting some sense of where we are going

While some things on the table saw are being cleaned and may or may not be brought back out to the shop, it is time to start the inside of the cabinet. A few things I expect to keep are set on top but a lot more has to come out. Most of this is stuff that has come as packaging and has been kept for reuse. Since it has not been used it is time for most of it to be recycled. If it has not been used for five years it is probably not going to be used, at least by me. There are some bags here for sale use, a roll of bubble wrap, some cardboard and foam dividers for bowls in storage and a lot of stuff for the recycle bin. a lot of stuff for the recycle bin
Pack rat that I am I had a piece of sideboard that fit the cabinet better than the section on it so I have replaced the panel and moved it to the bin for scrap plywood. a piece of sideboard that fit the cabinet
There was also a bag of old foil ashtrays in the mess. I got these surplus for next to nothing. They are great for holding small amounts of glue and the like. In addition there was a bag of bowls I had gotten from the Dollar store. They are cheap, reusable a time or two, and work great for holding finishes and the like. They also take up less space than recycled yogourt containers and the like that never seem to stack up all that well. a bag of old foil ashtrays in the mess
So the top of the cabinet is now home to some unfinished projects while the cabinet itself holds some of those boxes. It's a start. top of the cabinet is now home to some unfinished projects
Next! That black bag is actually a folding chair which does not belong in the shop so out it goes. black bag is actually a folding chair
