Getting the first shelf empty is a great start.

So a lot of the stuff from the bottom shelving is removed for sorting. Some has already been sorted into the firewood.  removed for sorting
Starting on the left there are some extra long pieces of cocobolo wood that I got some time ago for making pens. Beside it is some not so long ash. One of the things I have to do in sorting is decide where wood is going to live. For now I will work on length as a criterion.  some extra long pieces of cocobolo wood

I see some blocks of butternut, a little walnut and some carving blocks as well.
