Wood Turning a Birch Vase

Stumped, but enjoying it.

I refine the base to pedetal stem a little and prepare to clean up the edges a bit.
Refining cuts make a difference.
However, a bit closer examination reveals some more bark to come off.
So the base line is refined as is the pedestal.
I bring up the small rest so as to get the tools closer to the work.
A little more refining and it will be time to sand and part this off.
